Migraine: Sumatriptan is an abortive medicine for migraine. . Sumatriptan has a minimum efficacy of 70 % at 60 minutes but should not be given in the prodrome or aura stage. If you are in headache stage and responsive to triptans it will support the diagnosis of migraine. Re.: see headache or orofacial specialist for further investigation.
