A member asked:

Please help! what is the difference, if any, between occupational health and occupational therapy in relation to children?

Dr. Troy Ross answered

Specializes in Occupational Medicine

Totally different: Occupational therapy is focused on helping people to be more functional in their lives mainly through how they use tools and their upper extremities. Occupational health has a focus on keeping people safe and healthy in the workplace.
