Face swelling: Yes, you need to be concerned of any facial swelling that can cause swelling of the eye. This could be infection that requires antibiotics. Allergies can also cause this, but not usually to the extent of causing significant facial redness and swelling of the eye. See your doctor to see if there is an infection. Also tell your doctor about any visual problem that may be present with this.
