Dandruff shampoo: In a baby with cradle cap, don't be afraid to shampoo the hair with a dandruff shampoo such as selsun blue, and use a brush to brush out the flakes and scales from the soft spot. You can hurt the baby that way! after they are gone, and with continued shampoo, the scalp will be healthy again and hair will start growing.
