Appetite Suppressant: There are a number of appetite suppressants that can help minimize appetite. These medications do not cause weight loss, instead they are prescribed to help you in reducing your caloric intake by reducing your hunger. These medications in conjunction with healthy eating ; exercising habits can lead to weight loss.

Protein: By making sure you eat protein with each meal, and as between meal snacks, you can decrease your hunger and therefore inappropriate snacking. Also, look up 'high satiety foods'. These are foods that make you feel full longer after eating, usually because they are harder to digest. Medications can work as well, but i find they have a high failure rate.
