A member asked:

Equine syndrome and nerve damage, can you tell me more?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See details: I assume you mean equina or cauda equina syndrome since equine has to do with horses. It is caused by compression of nerves at the bottom end of the spinal cord. Symptoms include back pain, and loss of sensation in the area of the genitals and anus, groin and inner thighs. It can also cause bowel and bladder issues, sexual dysfunction and rarely paraplegia.
