Usually none: Our oral cavity is teaming with organisms including yeast. If our immune system is not intact, yeast can overgrow. Usually there are no symptoms. Some may have an abnormal yeasty odor, some may have white patches on the mucosa of the mouth or tongue and in the worst case scenario, esophagitis if the immune system is very compromised.
