What are the odds of beating stage 4 glioma?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Survival for GBM or: Stage IV glioma is quite poor, half succomb by 14 months, and > 90% by 2 years. Younger, completely resected, better functional people tend to do the best, but there are no cures. My dad died of this at age 63 31 years ago. Temozolamide is new since then. Senator ted kennedy is the most recent celebrity to survive about 18 mos from dx. These are the cold facts.
