Okay: Iron deficiency anemia simply means the patient has low or no iron stores in their bone marrow and organs caused by decreased iron food intake, bleeding as menses, or blood in bowel movement or nosebleeds. Other forms of anemia are associated with break-up of red cells, Folic Acid or B12 deficiency or other forms as spherocytic anemia. Please check with your doctor to have case reviewed.
