I would like to know about interstitial lung disease?

ILD: Is a process happening in the interstitial tissues or the tissues between the airs acs and outside the tubing of the blood vessels coursing through. This inflammation can worsen and can lead to pulmonary fibrosis wherein the transfer of o2 from the air sac to the blood vessels is compromised and later the release of co2 from the blood vessels to the air sacs to be breathed out--a simplistic pictur.
