Upper limit is four: In order to stay at the 2 grams/day of tylenol (acetaminophen) now recommended for people taking this chronically. The old recommendation of 4 grams/day would leave you at 8 tabs. The fda is requiring all companies making tylenol (acetaminophen)-containing combinations in the future to not have more than 325 mg in each pill, in which case 6 tabs a day would be safest. Zohydro-hydrocodone w/o tylenol (acetaminophen) will soon be available.
