Avoid animals: Zoonotic diseases are infections common in animals that inadvertently infect humans. These diseases prefer to infect animals and most do not transfer from person to person but can go from person back to other animals. These infections can mutate and become contagious to other humans so they should all be treated by a knowledgeable physician. Isolation and appropriate treatment will prevent spread.
