I don't understand: If you are being bit by somebody else this is not normal. Clenching your teeth producing temporary relief of pain in the sides of the head may suggest a problem with the temporal mandibular joint. Have this looked into (start with pmd or dentist) good luck.

Consider migraines: Migraines are most frequent cause of headaches. Clenching teeth may be very temporarily helping you like massage. See a neurologist.
