Vision&puberty: During puberty or pre puberty, the body is growing rapidly and the eyes cannot keep up with the rest of the body and you see rapid increase in myopia during this period. Girls can hit puberty after 8 any time, it is getting to be occurring at a lower age over the past decade or so. You should talk to her pediatrician.
