Similar: Traumatic specifically deals with trauma. Acquired includes a few other types of brain injury, such as anoxic, encephalopathic, infectious, etc. So a traumatic brain injury is an acquired brain injury, but an acquired brain injury is not necessarily traumatic. Hope that helps!
