Depends on skin type: The yag is a good laser for darker skin color because it is less pigment sensitive. That said it can be safely used on all skin types. The yag will generally perform a good hair reduction. If you are light skinned there are other lasers such as the diode 810 or the alexandrite which may have a better (slightly) response. If you like the person you saw go ahead the yag will work.
