Shingles: Shingles can be treated with medications which will help decrease the length of time of the outbreak as well as decrease the symptoms associated with the outbreak. Remember though, that shingles is a reactivation of the chicken-pox virus, which lies dormant in your central nervous system. There is no known cure for shingles at this time.
