Ease of use: The brachial blood pressure is used because it is easy to evaluate and easy to replicate. There are many reasons why the brachial blood pressure may not be the true blood pressure, such as disease in the subclavian arteries, but for the most part it is a well accepted way of estimating blood pressure.
