At what age is it no longer ok for a single mom to share hotel room with son?

No formal rules: There are strong taboos against incest present in our society. Moms and offspring can share hotel rooms at any age and there are no rules against this. This is a matter of common sense and economics.

No guilt: Guilt is a learned behavior and asking for approval to do something is co-dependent attitude serves no one. Know where you stand and do what is right. It takes courage to stand up and create your norm in life - this need not be explained to others.
