Presbyopia/Hyperopia: Depending on the degree of your refractive error, you will notice some perceived "eye strain." The most likely cause is Presbyopia which is due to difficulty accommodating (reading) after the age of 40. This can easily be corrected with glasses. Not wearing any correction will NOT harm your eyes; however, the glasses will certainly make it more comfortable for you to see and read.
