You can: take it with food. You can also use it only sparingly and when needed. If your pain is at a level that you need it frequently, you might ask your primary care physician for an anti-nausea medication such as Reglan (metoclopramide) or zofran.

Talk to your doctor: about switching to a different class or different opiod medication. Nausea is a common side effect for oxycodone.
