For how long should you be out of school with a thoracic vertebrae bruise?

That is somewhat : variable depending on location of injury, degree and overall health of the patient as well as their pain tolerance. Consider what accomadations can be made at the school for the patient and any transport involved especially if using any narcotic pain medication. If not driving and accommodations can be made then as soon as patient is comfortable.

It depends on one's: symptoms and their intensity and how long have they been there for? If the pain is greatly improved, then one could return, but maybe restrict Sports/PE for a 3-4 weeks. Your PCP or the Doc treating you or your child would be yje best person to ask this. Good Luck.
