Neck injury: It is a neck injury that can involve muscles, ligaments, joints in the neck. It usually occurs in a car. The person's car is hit from behind, and the head goes forward, pulling the neck with it. Then in recoil, the head goes backward, again pulling the neck. The neck gets stretched both ways, injuring soft tissues.
