A member asked:

I started the mini pill 4 weeks ago . i've have had two periods in a month ten days long since starting it . will it improve the longer i'm on it ?

Depends: I typically recommend a woman give a new birth control about 2-3 months for the body to adjust and see if side effects persist. It's possible that it will wane and disappear, but also possible that this breakthrough bleeding will continue as that's a known side effect of progesesterone only based birth control. Hope that helps!
