Stopping Yasminelle: Stopping your oral contraceptive would affect your fertility, in that you would no longer be protected from pregnancy. Your normal cycle might return immediately, but some women take a few months for that to happen, sometimes birth control pills also can stabilize cycles that were previously irregular. Off them. The irregularity can return.
