Incontinence: Overweight. Weight reduction helps incontinence. Estrogen therapy for menopause does not help incontinence much.

Both: Pressure from abdominal obesity will distort the angle between the bladder and the urethra. With age any previous sagging from childbirth, chronic coughs etc will get exaggerated due to weakening of the supporting muscles. Urgency incontinence also increases in the menopause due to atrophy of the bladder mucosa and nerves.
