Stop breast feeding: Stop breast feeding first. Then use cabbage leaves to help relieve the discomfort . Takes 3-4 days to dry up. Acupuncture and chinese medicine can also help if it is taking longer than that.

Slow weaning best: Introduce baby to a bottle with rubber nipple. Substitute bottle feeding and decrease breast feeding gradually. Gently massage breasts to relieve plugged milk ducts. A sudden stoppage of breast feeding is a shock to your system and and be avoided with a slow weaning process. Talk to other mothers who have done this. Small doseses of Ibuprofen willl help discomfort. Maintain your prenatal vitwound.
