What the difference between an ovulation test that has 2 dark lines and a negative pregnancy test? yet period is due in two days? is this possible?

Yes, possible: An lh/opk test is not the same as a hpt, although many women try to use the 2 interchangeably: i think it's a bad idea because it leads to confusion. For now i'd believe the negative hpt (sorry.) if period is due in 2 days check again in 1-2 days, use an hpt not an opk.
