Can implantation bleeding occur after a heavy period? are you pregnant if that happens?

See answer: Implantation bleeding usually occurs within 7-10 days after fertilization and prior to the onset of the expected menstrual period. It is usually light (spotting), brief in duration, and is often un-noticed. If you had a normal or heavy period at the time of your expected period, then no pregnancy. There are always rare exceptions: heavy implantation bleeding and implantation after period can occur.
