Involuntary acts: Breathing, heart and urinary functions are indeed controlled by brains and advanced brain dysfunction is a way these systems can cease to function, but don't confuse it with the functions like thinking in terms of "forgetting". It probably makes little difference in this case, but healthy folk don't "remember" how to do those things, right? They are part of autonomic nervous system brain functions.
