What anti emetic is stronger stronger than phenergan (promethazine)?

Other meds: Compazine and zofran, both prescription medications, would be considered stronger than Phenergan (promethazine) for relief of nausea. Reglan, tigan and cannabinoids are also used. In my experience zofran is the most effective antiemetic.

Zofran (ondansetron): Is a medication that used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting. It is a serotonin blocker and has fewer side effects. Check with your treating physician before taken any medication.

Ondansetron: The 5-ht3 receptor antagonist ondansetron (zofran) works by a different mechanism and is usually more effective than Phenergan (promethazine) at treating nausea. Good luck!

Zofran (ondansetron): Zofran (ondansetron) is a stronger anti-emetic and does not have the same side effect profile. Discuss use of this medication with your physician to see if it is an option.
