See answer : If the lump is separate from the testicle, it most likely is a swollen epididymis, epididymal cyst or other benign lesion. If this is the case, then a period of observation with regular self-exam is reasonable. If the lump is coming from the testicle, then testicular tumor needs to be ruled out. If this is the case or unsure, see md or urologist.
