A member asked:

Is it possible to have a mixed headache, with both migraine and tension headache symptoms?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes, quite often: In fact many so-called tension headaches have similar underlying neurochemical traits to migraine, hence may respond to similar treatments. See your md or neurologist for examination for any severe and/or debilitating undiagnosed headache.
