Dr. Marc Neff answered

Obesity teenager: There are over 20 different medical conditions that have been linked with obesity. The damage is cumulative over time. They range from elevated cholesterol, to high blood pressure, to heart disease, diabetes, sleep apnea, reflux, asthma, and arthritis. These over shadow the depression, social isolation, social dysfunction, and anxiety all magnified as a teen and all related to obesity.
