Unusual: It is very unusual to have only one eye that is color blind. This condition is one that is genetic and affects both eyes. In these individuals, the world is in shades of gray. In individuals who have lost a great deal of color perception in one eye due to disease, things would also appear more dull, dim and grey than with their other eye.
