It happens!: Candidiasis is a yeast infection. I am presuming you are referring to the vagina. There arre some over the counter meds for it. If not, prescription creams, suppositories and oral pills are available. Usually itching, redness, perhaps a cottage cheese like discharge and usually after taking antibiotics.

Yeast infection: Vaginal candidiasis usually presents with clumpy white vaginal discharge and extreme vaginal itching. It is also associated with painful intercourse.
