Nubain: Can by injected intravenously, subcutaneously, or intramuscularly. It is related to and similar potency to morphine but also related to the reversal agent naloxone, thus can cause withdrawal symptons. It causes respiratory depression but has a ceiling effect. Nubain is commonly used in labor and delivery.
