R/G color blindness?: It's hereditary and the most common type of color blindness. What this means is that person was born with a loss or limited function of red or green cones (one type of photoreceptor in the eye).Sometimes the red or green photopigments are abnormal; sometimes there's an actual absence of working red or blue cone cells.
