Specialist care: A physician with a specialty focus can make them less visible, though not remove them, using dermabrasion, microsurgery, laser treatment or filler injection. I'm sorry this happened, as all acne can be managed today using evidence-based medicine.

Depends on severity: There are different lasers, from non-ablative to ablative, that can help a lot. The more severe acne scars require more invasive techniques. These include dermabrasion or even surgical excision for the deeper scars.

Can't be done: Even a dermatologist cannot make a scar go away. At best, they can be concealed by dermabrasion, laser work, or injections. It's your choice; several hollywood leading men have kept their scars to look tougher.

Different options: Fraxel and dermabrasions work well for acne scarring, as long as the acne is under control. It usually requires at least 3-4 treatments; make sure to discuss risk or hyper pigmentation with different treatments. Also there are dermatologists who perform. Silicone droplet injection for this. Good luck.

Laser resurfacing: Laser resurfacing using a co2 or erbium laser is the best option for improving acne scars. I have also had some success with subcision (going under the skin with a large needle to release the scar tissue), microneedling, fillers and injection of fibrin rich plasma to the area.
