Shingles: Shingles can cause fairly dramatic pain which is followed within a few days by a rash. It usually appears in a particular location on one side of the body. The rash burns intensely, itches ; is made up blisters that open up ; crust over. A person could also have a fever, chills, headache and generalized aches ; pains with fatigue. There isn't a 'cure' but antiviral medications ; medications for.

Shingles: Shingles is a reactivation of the chicken pox living in the nerve endings. It is from your previous infection as a child with chicken pox. It blisters in one usually long line of nerves endings in what piece of skin known as a dermatome. There is no cure for chicken pox. There is treatment to help your body suppress this reaction. There is a vaccine to help you keep the infection suppressed.
