Perianal abscess: A perianal abscess may develop when one of the anal crypt glands becomes obstructed, and then infected. This may cause pain, fever, localized swelling, and pus drainage. Some may drain spontaneously, but more often the abscess requires an incision and drainage procedure, +/- antibiotics, depending on other factors. You should seek attention for this.
