Bilateral mastectomies & lat tram reconstruction, what to do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bilateral mastectomy: Without the use of prosthetic implants like saline or silicone, your surgeon perhaps feels one or the other muscle flaps is best suited for you. If you are having radiation now or later, implants alone may not be helpful. Microsurgical DIEP and modified DIEP flaps may also be considered. An exam doctor to patient can only determine what is best. .
