No there isn't: Doctors may push a q-tip just into urethral opening to swab for stds.

In the past: Gynecologists would sometimes do an office test putting a q-tip in a woman's urethra to evaluate for causes of urinary incontinance/loss. There are much more sophisticated (an expensive) tests now, but some may still be doing it this way.
