Can you tell me what ramsay hunt disease is and can be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ramsay Hunt syndrome: RHS is due to a viral herpes zoster infection - also called shingles, in which the virus affects the facial nerve near the ear. There can also be a painful skin rash around the ear. In addition there can be facial weakness and sometimes hearing loss in the ear on the infected side.
