Abnormal eye motion: Saccades is the technical name for the motion of the eye usually following a target. You cannot feel your eye motion and cannot analyze your own saccades in a mirror. An outside observer, hopefully an ophthalmologist can do this. Abnormal saccades are usually due to brain dysfunction and can follow trauma, tumors, infection and vascular accidents of the brain.
