Epi Best Small Cuts: Minor cuts would bleed less from Epinephrine in local anesthetic as Epinephrine is a constrictor. Local anesthetics with Epinephrine are useful for preventing bleeding in facial and hand surgery. Major wounds with bleeidng would only benefit some from epinephirne. Surgery to repair or firm pressure are safer for major extremity bleeding.
