A member asked:

Gall bladder stones 8mm. what are the options for me?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Surgery or not: If the gallstones are causing symptoms, then surgery to remove your gallbladder is an option. If a gallstone blocks the bile duct, then you may also need a procedure to remove stones from the bile duct (ercp). If you're not having symptoms, then you don't need to do anything. I'd recommend seeing a general surgeon to discuss your options.
