Hormonal disorder.: Polycystic ovary syndrome (pcos) is a common hormonal disorder among women of reproductive age. Infrequent or prolonged menstrual periods, excess hair growth, acne and obesity can all occur in women with polycystic ovary syndrome. The exact cause is unknown.
