Peritonitis ?: Peritonitis is the infection of peritoneum which is the inner lining of the abdominal cavity , intestines, bladder , liver , spleen , kidneys , colon , rectum , stomach etc . It can happen when the bacteria , virus or chemicals get entry into the peritoneal cavity.
