Dr. Stephen Geller answered

Specializes in Podiatry

Plantar fasciitis: Plantar fasciitis is an over-use syndrome resulting in inflammation in the small muscles within your foot. The small muscles are over worked trying to stabilize your foot when you walk or run. Inflammation is treated by pills aimed at relieving inflammation or injections. We assist the muscles by stretching exercises, changing shoes, and arch supports.
